The Department of Zoology was established 1982. The Department runs U.G. Ph.D. Courses and P.G. program A.G.P.M.- including Zoology has been affiliated to PAH Solapur
University, Solapur. It also conducts a certificate course in ‘Vermicomposting Technology and Hematology’ for the B.Sc. II and III students. The Zoology Department has proved as
strongly active in Research and Academics and its potential.
Head of the Department Prof Dr. Sudha Bansode has been honored as international Best Women Faculty award on 2019 and International Excellent faculty Award
on 2020. She is a distinguished Editorial Board Member of many International Journals.Currently she is an International Speaker. She is a visiting Professor she has been completed
her Post Doctoral research at University of California USA on 2017. She has been visited as an Academic visitor to many countries such as United Kingdom, USA, UAE, Thailand,
Srilanka, Netherlands, Canada, Germany etc. She has been delivered many speeches as an International Speaker.
